VP of Growth, Health Plan and Employer

Their solution decreases the cost and improves outcomes for chronic metabolic and digestive conditions including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, kidney disease, obesity, and irritable bowel syndrome, where dietary management is a recommended treatment. Our client’s program covers everything from patient screening, to enrollment, dietitian support, remote patient monitoring, medically tailored meals, and education to ensure self-sufficiency and sustainable benefits.

 

As the leader of their health plan and employer verticals, you'll play a critical role in leading all aspects of the organization's growth strategy with prospective and current health plan and employer clients including vision, strategy, process, management, pricing and contracting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the health plan and employer markets and proven success in management and execution of growth, strategic partnerships, sales, and deal execution. Essential Job Functions

·       Lead all aspects of growth for our health plan and employer lines of business

·       Become an expert in our client’s programs, and use this knowledge to execute business development efforts

·       Build a pipeline, lead sales meetings with prospects, and close business to hit targeted growth

·       Attend industry conferences, manage network of health plan contacts, and publicly represent our client within the health plan and employer space

·       Understand the competitive landscape and key market dynamics to inform our clients sales approach and strategy around emerging trends 

·       Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

·       Collaborate with internal stakeholders (i.e., Brand Strategy, Brand Creative) along with external partners to develop and implement a robust creative strategy.

·       Manage a team and motivate them to executive on strategic plan

 

Minimum Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field

·       5+ years of experience in sales, business development, corporate development, strategy, or similar roles

·       Substantial experience working within the health plan and employer healthcare space

·       A proven track record in driving growth; robust playbook of available optimization and growth levers

·       Project management experience and ability to see complex projects from beginning to end

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to include impactful interactions by phone, email and chat systems

·       Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

·       Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and manage multiple projects/vendors

·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Ability to communicate and work directly with executive leadership

·       Self-motivated, with the ability to work minimally supervised

·       Ability to travel as needed up to 25%
