About the Role:
The Senior Account Executive will report and partner with the Vice President, Sales and will be responsible for effectively managing all sales cycle activities, from prospecting to close. This is a role with a meaningful mission; to help healthcare organizations to meet the SDOH needs of their members, and in doing so, raise health confidence and lower avoidable healthcare spending. The SAE needs to have excellent self-management skills and be comfortable working in a start-up environment.
Responsibilities:
Represent our client’s solution to managed care organizations and other at-risk healthcare organizations.
Effectively and consistently prospect in order to build a suitable pipeline
Effectively describe and present solutions to prospects
Promptly follow up on all leads delivered by Marketing
Qualify prospects in order that resources are spent only on the right sales cycles
Work collaboratively with Marketing and Product to refine sales messages and content
Provide market feedback to relevant departments
Expertly managed complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to a predictable close
Accurately forecast sales opportunities from both revenue and timing perspectives
Consistent and timely documentation in Hubspot of activities, feedback, notes, etc.
Regularly communicate sales cycle progress to VP Sales
Travel to approved health conferences to represent our client
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in business, or other related field.
At least 4+years of relevant and successful sales
Healthcare Payer expereince is required
Demonstrated history of quota attainment in healthcare IT or services serving the payer market.
Experience selling into Medicaid managed care plans is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge base in healthcare processes, stakeholders, current trends, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of consultative selling methods such as Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling, Challenger Selling, etc.
Strong overall business acumen which enables the formulation of effective, probing questions to prospects
Team player who can effectively work across departments in the company
Resilience necessary for the early-stage company environment preferred
Experience using CRM, preferably Hubspot but not a requirement.
Systems-thinker: the ability to see how multiple variables interact in a complex environment
